So not a whole lot has gone on since we moved. Kyle started his job on the 22nd and its been a hard adjustment on all of us. Bailey has a hard time when he leaves in the morning, but it's getting better. I have a hard time with him being gone for so long, and he is adjusting to working for so long and not seeing Bailey. The job itself is stressful, but I told him that's what he gets for being a pretend doctor. :) But it seems to be getting better and he's getting more familiar with the surgeons that he works with so he's more comfortable.
A few weeks ago we bought a car, I would upload a picture, but it seems that Bailey has gotten to the computer and it won't read my disc. Anyways, it's a 2007 Dodge Durango and we love it! It's an 8 seater, so hopefully someday we'll fill it up. Bailey and I have made great use of it, between the library and grocery stores, we've broken it in. And when we aren't zooming around town, we like to go swimming in the afternoon heat. Luckily our backyard is really shaded so we don't get a lot of sun, but the heat is horrifying! So we like to play out back and we have bought one blow up pool and a sort of splash pad thing
We love it and Bailey always has a great time. That's pretty much what we've been up to. Bailey is turning 2 on Sunday and I can't believe how fast time flies! She has grown so much and is so smart! She already knows all her letters and loves the alphabet. She has gone from mellow to motor, she goes and goes and goes. If she isn't into the pots and pans, its the computer or the tv or the bathroom! But that's ok, she learns a lot and really fast too! She's getting better with playing with HER toys and not things she's not supposed to, and she spends hours in her room 'reading' her books. That's why we go to the library a lot. She loves it and cries every time we leave. She's getting better at me doing her hair, and she loves to wear dresses. She's girly, but everyday when Kyle comes home she begs for the Big Buck Hunting game. She loves going on bike rides every morning. We see all sorts of things on them. Birds, planes, turkeys, bunnies, coyotes, etc. Anyways she's just a blast to be around and adjusting well to the move. She doesn't have close friends yet, but her and I have become 'buddies' as she says and she is just the right friend for me too!
We are going back to Utah on the week of October 14th because I am having hip surgery on the 14th. Finally after 6 years of pain, we know what is wrong with my hip and are getting it fixed. I should be able to start running in January - just in time after the holiday weight gets packed on, and maybe it will be nice and cool then. We'll be in Utah until Thanksgiving and then Kyle will fly out and help me drive back. We are looking forward to spending more time with family!
Christmas fun with the Farnsies!
