Our newest addition!

This is Chester.
We inherited him from our dear downstairs neighbors that moved today. I got really excited about him wanting to go buy him some toys for his tank. Hopefully he will be able to move with us when we go so we won't have to pass him along. Bailey alreay is watching him so hopefully they'll be great friends.

Graduation!

Today was Yale's Graduation! And Kyle got to walk with his classmates that 'shall' receive their diplomas in December! It was fun. Bailey was having a hard time because of her naptime, but the nice family next to me rocked her to sleep and held her the whole time! It was so nice.

Here's the bitterly happy graduate. Happy to graduate, sad to go back to school the next day..
Bailey was ready to get out of the sun, and out of the sunscreen!
And here's our proud little family. We just cannot wait until December!
And of course to celebrate I baked something, what is better than that? And the real reason is, is that I had an excuse to use my new cake topper. This cake is so chocolatey it's amazing. (The extreme chocolate cake from allrecipes.com) Don't let my frosting job fool you.

Last Minute Trip

Bailey and I decided to take a trip to Utah, a week before we left. We needed a break from New Haven and Kyle needed to work on his thesis that is due the end of August. So we took off for 2 weeks, a little long to be away from Kyle, but one week is way to short to see all three families.

We went to Kyle's parent's house for a few days to see everybody, and absolutely loved it!

Here's all the girls in their matching dresses. Lydia didn't want to just sit there, she wanted to crawl, and Myrrie wanted her mom, poor girl! -Bailey is just chill, we got so lucky!-
This is all the girls plus little Cooper. All born within 6 months of each other and all going to be best friends!

Then we went to my parent's house and even though they were busy, we had fun together. My sister came down from Wyoming to hang out with us, and for Mother's Day, we got pedicures, so much fun!
These are the 'October Twins'. Korahle, my sister and I were due 2 weeks apart but went into labor at the same time. My poor mom...trying to be in two places at once. Gavin showed up 15 hours before Bailey so he beat her by a day. They are going to be really good friends too!

Then we went up to my dad's house which was really relaxing! And my other sister from Idaho came to see us! And surprised us, it was so good to see her, even though I forgot about getting pictures with her cute kids.

Kyle missed us, and we missed him! But it was so good to see family and nice to get out of CT once in a while! Maybe next time we go to Utah we won't have to come back to CT!
